September 27 - September 29
The Assembly of First Nations (AFN) is hosting the 2nd National Climate Gathering: Preserving our Earth, Land and Water for Future Generations from September 27 to 29, 2022, at the Fredericton Convention Centre, in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
The Climate Gathering will again bring together First Nations experts, leadership, youth, women, Knowledge Keepers and other professionals from across Turtle Island to work on the most urgent crisis of our time – climate change. It will offer an opportunity to explore solutions that First Nations are advancing in the face of rapid change at the local, regional, national and international levels. For First Nations, a healthy environment connects to everything – our health, well-being, cultures, languages, water, food security and housing, among other things.
