Disasters are separated into natural (biological, meteorological/hydrological, and geological), conflict (arson, civil incidents, hijacking, and terrorist), and technology (fire, hazardous chemical, transportation accident, infrastructure failure, explosion, and space event). Point and gridded historical data are available.
