Welcome to the Indigenous Climate Change Searchable Library
The information contained in the Resource Library database offers numerous references to journal articles, research papers, tools, documents and videos. Due to copyright laws, some sources will require payment or permission to access by the author.
In this section, you will find Indigenous community risk assessments, adaptation and monitoring reports including climate change tools submitted by Indigenous organizations and communities. These resources are intended for you to better position your community in developing a climate change action initiative.
The Indigenous Climate Hub is a unique online community of Indigenous climate change leaders that have come together to share their stories and climate change adaptation experiences. The website is the result of the recommendations brought forward by Indigenous peoples at the Indigenous Climate Change Adaptation Gathering in 2018.
Indigenous Climate Network
The members-only Indigenous Climate Network is an interactive platform for members to connect, share ideas and leverage resources. The network is expected to officially launch in the fall. Please visit the website often to learn more about this online community and its official launch date.
Are you a program or organization that funds or supports Indigenous Peoples working on climate change initiatives? If you would like to provide information to potential recipients here, please reach out to Okwaho so that we can work with you to highlight your program.
