Moving to Climate Resilience: Managing Risk and Communicating Change On The Prairies Workshop October 2-3, 2019 Winnipeg, MB

You are invited to join adaptation practitioners from across the Prairies in Winnipeg on October 2nd and 3rd to attend the workshop, “Moving to Climate Resilience: Managing risk and communicating change on the Prairies.”

Hosted by the Prairies Regional Adaptation Collaborative (PRAC) www.prairiesrac.com, this 2 day workshop will raise awareness of current and emerging climate risks, share best practices in risk assessment, discuss strategic communication of climate change adaptation, and provide opportunities for peer-to-peer learning.

  • Adaptation to flooding in Mi’kma’ki;
  • Pangnirtung youth tackle climate change: On-the-land knowledge exchange, monitoring, and filmmaking promoting adaptation and well-being.
